Next the children will create an imaginary portrait of Miquel Barceló based on our explanations, including aspects that identify him.

The Chapter of Mallorca Cathedral welcomes the academic year 2019-2020

As in previous years, the Mallorca Cathedral Chapter welcomes the 2019-2020 academic year with a programme of guided tours and activities in the Cathedral's Educational Projects section. The aim of this programme is for schoolchildren to learn about the history, culture and art of Mallorca's most important church.

We offer guided tours for 5 year olds, primary, secondary and Baccalaureate students. There are different itineraries depending on the subject the visit is particularly focusing on, so they can be a complement and/or extension of the school curriculum. Visits for 5 year olds and primary school children can be completed with a workshop. We also have teaching materials for all visits and ages, consisting of a presentation to work on in the classroom and a workbook to review what has been learned. Visits and activities can also be designed a la carte, in line with the curriculum or projects the school is working on. In this case, the activity is organised jointly with the teaching staff.

All activities are free and last approximately 1 hour, 1.5 hours if there's also a workshop. You can find all the information and the complete list of visits on offer in the "School Visits" section.
